I've never really been a big fan of Marvel Comics mainly due to the fact that their comic books are so overpriced. I am aware that there are Malay-version ones too but I shun them because their literal translations change the whole story
But when Marvel started producing movies, I was actually excited about it. What has been on paper for years is finally becoming real. (not literally) It is always a thrill to see what the movie industry can do to make a comic story happen on the screen, especially the characters. These movie ratings would have one more thing to compare to -- their original story. How well the director mimics the original story pretty much sets the bar on how well the movie sells.
Yesterday, I finally found the time to watch Iron Man 2 and it was better than I thought. Normally movie sequels suck but this one was an exception. The addition of Scarlett Johansson made the movie that much hotter. How can you resist that?!
Lately movies have began to adopt the habit of putting sneak previews of sequels at the end of the ending credits. For Iron Man 2, that's where Thor was introduced, a character based on Norse Mythology.
I set out to find if a movie will be made about him and I was right. It's already in post production and is expected to be released on May 6, 2011, a summer blockbuster. The trailer was hard to find but I finally stumbled upon a link on YouTube to the 5 minute long trailer and decided to share it with the world. (or at least until someone shoots me an e-mail demanding for it to be removed)
